Attorney Timothy C. Dietz

Tim began his legal career in 2006 as a trial attorney where he represented clients in business disputes, commercial transactions, property boundary litigation, personal injury torts, premises liability, consumer protection (unfair trade practices and predatory lending), bankruptcy, adversarial proceedings, probate, marriage dissolutions, child custody and parental rights, and criminal defense. While in law school, Tim served as a member of the mock trial team while also taking top honors in Trial Practice, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and Advanced Legal Research

Prior to starting his legal career, Tim enjoyed a 24-year career in the Marine Corps. His military service encompassed thirteen years in the enlisted corps where he rose through the ranks to gunnery sergeant, followed by eleven years in the officer corps serving as a warrant officer, chief warrant officer, and captain. Tim completed eight overseas tours, one of which was a combat tour during Operations Desert Shield and Storm. Shortly after returning from the 1991 Gulf War, Tim received an early taste of legal work when he was tasked with investigating a ground mishap involving the loss of a $23,000,000 AV-8B Harrier jet. Three Marines were exonerated due to his investigation. Tim’s military decorations include, among others, the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal with gold star, Combat Action Ribbon, Drill Instructor Ribbon, and Kuwait Liberation Medal.

Tim successfully held key positions in the semiconductor industry as a senior software engineer, validation program manager, and new products program manager.

Tim is deeply committed to reaching practical solutions for his clients. When a litigation matter cannot be settled, he is prepared to serve as a strong advocate for his clients all the way through trial.
